Frequently Asked Questions

Private patients and private health insurance patients do not need a referral from a doctor.

Chronic Disease Management Care or EPC (Medicare) require a referral/ care plan from your GP.

Home Care Package Occupational Therapy clients require a referral from your home care package provider or you can be seen as a private client upon approval from your case manager.

Please try to wear comfortable and unrestricted clothing. You may need to move around and do some exercises. 

Please bring any documents (such as referral letters, EPC paperwork, third party payer paperwork, test results, medical imaging results etc) from any GP, specialist, surgeon, nurse or other health professionals if you think it might be related to your current health condition.

If you are using any products or health aides (such as walking frames, orthotics, straps, supports, etc) and would like us to have a look please bring them along.

Yes, you can. We have a HICAPS terminal at the practice, which allows you to claim on the spot. You can use either the physical health fund card or the digital health fund card with our HICAPS terminal.

We are privileged to be part of the NIB first choice physiotherapy provider network. With the Physiotherapy Extras, NIB members could get 100% back on their initial consultation once every year with us and also enjoy discounted rates for their follow-up sessions. 

Under the HCF More for Muscles program, eligible HCF health fund member can have a fully covered initial physiotherapy consultation (no gap) every year with us. 

Yes, you can. We welcome Chronic Disease Management (previously Enhanced Primary Care) Plans, for 5 sessions partially subsidised by Medicare per year if referred by your GP. A small gap payment is applicable between the medicare rebate amount and the scheduled fees.

Yes, we have concession rates for pensioners, concession card holders and children ≦16 years old. Please inquire at the time of your booking.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, an adequate notice (at least 24 hours) will be very much appreciated or a cancellation fee may apply for both physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
